Forgotten and Unused Resources…

There are many unused or untapped resources for everything from program ideas, to meeting help. Here are just a couple of ideas…

  • Brownies, Guides, Pathfinders and Rangers!
    • They are not only interested in having fun themselves, but its actually part of their program work to lend a hand at meetings of other levels.
  • Trefoil Guild members
    • Invite a Trefoil Guild member to your meeting and you might be surprised about everything she has to offer.
Not only can she probably tell you some wild stories and adventures, but she may be able to teach a new skill, craft, game or song!
  • District Program Advisors, and Area Program Advisers
  • Other community groups and resources:
    • Libraries and rec centers usually not only have fun day camps, but also have info sessions that you can use for completing program work.
    • RCMP, community police, and conservation officers are also friendly resources to help you complete program work.
  • And don’t forget about the programs they have for kids, including talks about safety.
