Avalon wilderness site is available for booking and is a great location to test your camping skills for SOAR 2011. Bring your own pop up shelter, cooking equipment, coolers, lanterns and tents and enjoy the wilderness experience close to home!
Avalon has water and a fire pit. Washrooms are shared with Camelot site. There is no permanent shelter and no electricity.
A booking can now be made a full year in advance. For example, as of this date, bookings can be made up to May 2011. We encourage Guiders to “think ahead” and thus be able to get the site you want at the time you want.
For some time now we have offered reduced rates for the camping sites (NOT Robin’s Roost or Marion’s Manor) for the “off” season. These rates are as follows:
- Sherwood and Camelot
  - July, August & September rate is $5.95 (15% reduction)
  - March & October rate is $6.30 (10% reduction)
- Avalon
  - July, August & September rate is $4.25 (15% reduction)
  - March & October rate is $4.50 (10% reduction)
Confirmation of your camp cannot be made until payment for booking fees, minimum fee and Damage/Security Deposit are received.

If your unit performs a Service Project from the Work List during your stay, you may be eligible to obtain the above crest
for your girls!
